Condolence From: Mike Horgan
Condolence: Among my many fond memories of Hal Lewis is that he was the best-read and best-informed social studies teacher ever. His best friends knew that it could be dangerous to shake his hand, because he could squeeze the life out of the fingers of anyone who was not prepared for his grip. I am going to miss him terribly. He and I were fellow long-time fans of Winston Churchill.

Condolence From: Barbara Nemensky Mee
Condolence: Dear Barbara and family,
Long ago, when I was invited in to your home while waiting for my sister Pat and Sandy to get back, Hal told me that he needed a Social Studies teacher and as they say, "the rest is history". I started under his tutelage in the fall of 1974, and eventually moved to Londonderry, NH where I will end my 40 year+ teaching career this June. I firmly believe that I became the teacher I am because of Hal. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this loss. Hugs...

Condolence: Uncle Hal-it's been an honor to be your nephew. There are no words to convey my appreciation for that gift.

You can't fool me, I know you absconded with the key to the refrigerator!

With a heart full of love and sadness, I will miss you forever.
